Preschool Halloween Activity with Dot Markers
The air is starting to cool.
The leaves are changing color.
Starbucks is offering pumpkin spice on the menu 🙂
And whether I like it or not,
All I can think about is Halloween.
This time of year I make good use of our dot markers. Students are still working on their pre-writing skills like developing strength in their little hands, and exercising their hand eye coordination.
This simple bingo dauber activity designed for young children (3-5 year olds) is kind of like color-by-number but with dot markers, instead.
There are eight editable jack-o-lanterns printables.
Pick two letters, numbers or small sight words you want your students to practice and enter it on the pdf resource.
It will automatically populate the remaining pages.
Print enough for one for each student, and gather two dot markers (in different colors) for each student. All colors are fine but orange is popular since they are pumpkins!
Tell the students they are going to dab each circle with a dot marker. Have them dab the color key at the top of their pages with their two colors. If they do it correctly a jack-o-lantern should appear.
You can find this fall themed dot marker activity and others here.
Happy Halloween!
